Layers upon layers of effects ooze from every combat ability, affecting the environment, time-frozen objects, enemies, and even the game's backdrops. Jaw-dropping Graphics and Audioįrom its announcement trailer, Quantum Break set senses sizzling with its conceptual spin on special effects in games, and the finished product delivers on those promises in a big way. Thankfully, Quantum Break shattered my preconceptions in a timely fashion, on every single front.

Lacking a season pass or any form of engagement-retaining multiplayer, Quantum Break appears to be a pretty risky title.
